Biography: Clarence Eurich was the 2nd husband of Laura Lyons. He was born in Ohio to Henry and Caroline Eurich. Clarence
met and married Laura Lyons some time around 1915 to 1920. They had one son together. Clarence died on Christmas Day 1924,
cause of death was fractured skull and a broken neck. Article taken out of the Sun Papers on December 26, 1924 read as follows:
KILLED WHEN AUTO CRASHES INTO POLE: C.C. Eurich returning home for dinner at time of the accident. Returning to
his home yesterday to spend Christmas Afternoon with his wife and family, Clarence C. Eurich, 36 years old, engineer on one
of the State Road Commission's steam shovels, was killed when his automobile skidded and crashed into a telephone pole
at Flack's Corner and Henryton Rd., Howard County. Earlier in the day he had refused to take his wife and 4year old son with
him on the trip, telling them that it was too cold of a day. They were awaiting him at a long delayed Christmas Dinner
when word of the accident was received. Mr. Eurich went to look after the steam shovel which is being used in road building
work in the county. He had done this regularly every Sunday and Holiday. His wife, Mrs. Laura V. Eurich, and their 4 year
old son Raymond, generally accompanied him on the trips. After the investigation of the accident by Julius Wosch, chief of
police of Ellicott City, and Frank C. Higginbotham, corner, it was announced that an inquest was unnecessary. The body was
taken to the undertaking establishment and later sent to Eurich's home at 2307 Beck Lane. Eurich is survived by a wife and
three children.
Clarence was laid to rest from his residence at 2307 Beck Lane and interred at Mount Olivet Cemetery located on Frederick
Ave in Baltimore, Maryland
