What you are about to read has been an effort by myself and my brother Lloyd, with the help of our brother Charles. We have spent many hours researching the family history, from the Maryland Archives in Annaoplis, Md. to the National Archives in Washington D.C.,to the family research center of the Latter Day Saints. We have trampled through old cemeteries looking for ancestors graves, we have gone to the old neighborhoods to find out where those before us have lived.We have gone to the Pratt Library and the Maryland Historical Society to look for information that might be helpful. It has been a hobby for the last four years that will probably last until I am physically unable to do it anymore.

          What we have found so far is a family that is like any other family, hard working, God fearing,patriotic, loving family that came to this country for the opportunity to partake in this great country's freedoms. Some of them came as far away as Ireland and Germany, some came as near as Virginia. Until our generation most of them lived in Baltimore City or close proximinty to each other. Several of the families lived in the same household. There were a few suprises, some might even be called schocking, but it is a part of the family history. In looking through the records we not only shared the joy of a new birth to the family, but also shared the sorrow of many of our ancestors. It is our hope that you read our family's history as it was intended, to share with the present day relatives the happiness and sorrows of our ancestors and what they went through to make us the family we are today.

       There are many gaps that need to be filled, many will take time and research, some information we already have but have not have time to put it together. We though it more important to give the information we already have and add to that as time goes on. If there is any information or any material, such as old photos you would like to share we would like to hear from you. We hope you enjoy what we have done as much as we have enjoyed doing it. Feel free to share the information with any one you would like.
