Biography: John Kines was the son of George Kines and Mary l. Mulligan born on June 3, 1889. He met and married Helen G. Kines sometime around 1913 and they had two children together (Rita and Bernadette). Helen Kines died on January 19, 1921. He then met and married Stella Agnes Tipton Nee: Dorsey on April 25, 1928. She brought her son Dorsey Tipton with her into the marriage, Stella then diedin February of 1935. Lloyd and I met Dorsey Tipton on one occassion and he said that his step father was very kind to him. John worked for the Gas and Electric Co. He died on April 10, 1971 of Pulminary Ademia and cogestive heart failure. He is buried in New Catheral Cemetery
