Biography: Stella Agnes Dorsey was the daughter of Michael and Bessie (Kayne) Dorsey. She was born in 1888 and was Christened at St Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. She met and married George Oscar Tipton in February of 1916 and they had one child together. In 1918 George died during the Flu epidemic and Stella lived with her Mother on Oread Ave. in Baltimore til she met and married John Kines in 1928. John and Stella lived on Leeds Ave in Arbutus until her death in 1935. Cause of death was Chronic Myocarditis. She was laid to rest in New Catheral Cemetery. The obituary as taken out of the Baltimore Sun read as follows: Kines------- On February 25, 1935 Stella Dorsey Kines, beloved wife of John G. Kines. Funeral from her home, 1022 Leeds Ave, on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. Requiem Mass at Fourteen Holy Martyrs' Church at 9:00a.m. Interment in Catheral Cemetery.
