Biography: Mary T. Ross (Heuisler) married William Gibbs Ross and had two children together. William and Mary were married in St Peters Church which became the first catheral in the U.S. After William died in 1846 Mary lived with her children until her death in 1876 at the age of 79. Her death certificate said she died of cerebal softening and the secondary cause was exhaustion. Her obituary was taken out of the Sun papers which read," Mary T. in the 79th year of her life, consort of the late William G. Ross. Her funeral will take place from the residence of her son in law, Jeremiah Burman, No 56 South Carrolton Ave. On this Monday afternoon at four o'clock. Her relatives and friends are invited to attend without futher notice.
