Biography: Augustus Clark was the first husband of Mary Margaret Magaha. Mary and Augustus were only married nine years before his death and as far as we can tell they had two children together. Augustus died on September 8, 1878 and was buried two days later on September 10, 1878, in Western cemetery located off of Edmonson Ave in Baltimore. His Obituary read: On September 8, 1878, after intense suffering, Augustus Clark in the 36th year of his life, beloved husband of Mary M. Clark and Eldest son of M.E. Daily and John Clark. His funeral will take place from Friendship Ave. Baltimore County, on this Tuesday Morning the 10th instant, at 10 oclock. His relatives and friends are respestfully invited to attend the interment at Western Cemetery.
