Biography: Edna Dorsey, the daughter of George W. and Theresa (Magaha) Dorsey, was born on New Years Day of 1890. She was baptized at St Jerome's Catholic Church. her God Parents were  Francis Peters and Agnes Dorsey. She met and married Frank Jubb and they had one child together (Catherine Jubb), they were married at St Peter's the Apostle Church in Baltimore by Rev. John A. Boyd, and there witnesses were Frederick and Catherine (Dorsey) Strobel. Frank and Edna were married for just more than six years, when Frank died of influenza. Edna remarried in 1934 to Joseph Bernhard at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Annapolis Maryland. Edna died that same year after giving birth to a baby boy. Her death certificate said that she died Nephitis and a cerebal embolism. The baby boy was soon adopted by his Aunt and Uncle and was named Lloyd Charles Dorsey.She was laid to rest on October 15, 1934 in Holy Redeemer Cemetery which is located on Belair Rd. in Baltimore. The obituary as taken out of the Baltimore Sun Papers reads as follows: " Bernhard-----On October 11, 1934, Edna E., beloved wife of Joseph Bernhard and daughter of Theresa and the late George W. Dorsey. Funeral from the residence of her sister, Mrs. Harry Eaves 1720 Johnson Street on Monday at 8:30 A.M. a Requiem Mass at St Mary's Star of the Sea Church at 9:00 A.M. interment at Holy Redeemer Cemetery."
