Biography: Norman Joseph Dorsey was the youngest child of Michael John and Elizabeth (Bessie) (Kayne) Dorsey. He was born in February 1899 and baptised in March 1899. His baptismal Certificate list only his Godmother (Margaret Kayne). Norman only lived four months and he died in July 1899 cause of death according to the death certificate was Diarrhorea, Mealonal. I am not sure of the correct spelling because it was handwritten on the death certificate and it is hard to read. It also says on the death certificate that the duration of sickness was 11 days. Norman was buried the next day in New Catheral Cemetery. His obituary as taken out of the Baltimore Sun Papers read as follows: DORSEY On July 12. Norman J., aged 4 months, beloved child of M. J. and B.C. Dorsey. The funeral will take place from the parents residence, No. 2028 West Lanvale Street, today (Thursday), July 13, at 2 P.M. Interment private.
