Biography: Charles Dallas Dorsey was the youngest son of George and Theresa (Magaha) Dorsey who lived past childbirth. He was christened at St. Martin's Church located on North Fulton Ave in Baltimore. His Godparents were Charles and Catherine Lochboehler (Catherine was George W.'s sister.) He met and married Lillian Smith on September 28, 1922. They were married at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church in South Baltimore, and they had six children together. Charle's occupation: Baltimore City Fire Fighter. He was appointed to the Baltimore City Fire Department on April 18, 1924 and was assigned to Truck Compamy # 10. He stayed at Truck 10 until April 21, 1934 when he transferred to truck #6. he stayed at Truck # 6 until his untimely death on December 4, 1934.He was injured in the line of duty on three different occasions: June 5, 1927 through June 10, 1927; April 26, 1930 through May 3, 1930; and March 1, 1931 through March 5, 1931. He was commended by the department one time; September 23, 1934. His former occupation before he entered the Fire Department was a dock builder. His badge number while he was in the Fire Department was 234. Charles died on December 4, 1934 at West Baltimore Hospital. It is hard to tell from the death certicate what the cause of death was, but it looks like miocardial sterosis, sudden. 1934 was a disastrous time for the Dorsey Clan, in October Charles sister Edna died in childbirth and then in December Charles died. Charles was laid to rest in New Catheral Cemetery
