Biography: Royal Paul Dorsey was the son of Michael John and Elizabeth (Bessie) (Kayne) Dorsey. He was baptized at St Martin's Church and his Godmother was the only one listed on the baptismal certificate (Catherine Kayne). He lived with immediate family his entire life. He never married. His occupation listed on the death certificate was a painter. He was living at 14 Old Court Rd at the time of his death. He died in November of 1965. Cause of death as listed on the death certificate was Arterioscleratic C-V Disease. He was buried at Druid Ridge Cemetery. His obituary as listed in The Baltimore Sun Papers read as follows: Dorsey           On November 17, 1965 at his home 14 Old Court Road, Pikesville, Royal P., beloved son of the late Michael J. and Bridget Dorsey; beloved brother of Mrs. Myrtle Dorsey Thomas.-----------Funeral from the Newell Funeral Home, 1100 Reistertown Rd. Pikesville, on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. Requiem Mass at St Charles Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. Interment in Druid Ridge Cemetery. Family requests friends to call 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
                I know in his obituary it says his mother's name was Bridget, it also says that on the death certificate, but her name was Elizabeth and she went by Bessie.
